While driving from DFW to Oklahoma City, a truck tire exploded in front of me on the highway. By the time I got to OKC, I had no AC in the car. Todd at Downtown Auto Repair analyzed the problem, and although he couldn’t repair it, he did let me know that it was safe for me to drive back home. He didn’t charge me for his time, but gave me peace of mind, which I appreciated! I see why he has such great reviews!

I almost hate to say this because I don't want to cost them money but the amount of work Todd has NOT charged me for is incredible. Just an example: CEL came on. He checks it, determines it's a pinhole leak in the emissions system which doesn't affect the performance and doesn't HAVE to be fixed in Oklahoma. He resets the CEL and no charge. He could've told me it was anything, I'd have no idea. I just left there after another thing like that. That's why I don't take my cars anywhere else, even when it isn't free. These guys are gold.

I’ve been doing business with Todd for 25 years. He has always done good quality work and has always been fair with pricing. I trust him. No complaints!

First come first serve starting at 7am. He was able to look at my car, and get the belt fixed all in a day thankfully, and flexible to make sure I could drive safely tonight, even if fixes couldnt be done by then (luckily that wasnt the case!) Really felt like he was easy to work with, and affordable. Will certainly be back if I need help again!

I’ve been going to Todd’s shop for several years. I have friends and family members that go to him too. Everything that has been said about him in these reviews are 100% true. He’s honest and he doesn’t take advantage of women. He knows his stuff. I highly recommend him to everyone I know that needs an honest and hardworking Mechanic. Todd is always quick in his work. You drop off your car in the morning and most times he done by lunchtime. I will always take my car to Todd’s shop!

As someone who just moved here from Oregon and knows absolutely nothing about cars, I was relieved to find Todd's place. Todd was incredibly welcoming, kind, and a great communicator. He walked me through my car issues clearly and I was actually able to understand what was going on. Didn’t need an appointment and the service was so fast. While I hope for no future car troubles, I'm glad to know that I'm in good hands if I come here.

I was extremely pleased with my experience at Downtown Auto Repair. Todd was great! His customer service was outstanding, and his pricing was very fair. He took the time to look over all the issues with my car and provided clear quotes before doing any work. He did a great job on my brakes and my car feels so much better now. I’m glad I finally found a mechanic I can trust. I’ve already recommended Todd to my family, and my husband will be taking his car there soon. I’ll definitely be back for any future car repairs or maintenance!

Wish I would have found this shop much sooner! Extremely knowledgeable and fair. Old school word of mouth family owned small local business. Over four decades of experience and a true heart to save the car owner money by only fixing what has to be fixed. Never waists time boosting labor cost and always stands behind the work with a peace of mind parts and labor warranty!
